Plan & Launch
I help teams turn promising ideas into health data products and services that people actually use. That can mean working through the concept, validating the market, getting the build moving, launching, or driving adoption.

DON LEE · GLIDE HEALTH IT
I help teams plan and launch health data products, and get difficult builds moving again when they stall.

HOW I WORK
Sometimes that means solving something that needs to work on Monday. Sometimes it means exploring what’s possible and opening a new technical door. Either way, I like interesting problems, tangible progress, and teams that enjoy building together.
WHAT I DO
I operate between product, technology, business, and the people who have to make all of it work.
I help teams turn promising ideas into health data products and services that people actually use. That can mean working through the concept, validating the market, getting the build moving, launching, or driving adoption.
Clinical data aggregation, interoperability, analytics, quality measurement, and the workflows around them. I help product and technical teams connect the pieces and make the data useful.
I’ve helped multiple organizations navigate NCQA Data Aggregator Validation. DAV touches a lot of the organization. I bring structure across product, engineering, quality, documentation, and leadership so teams can keep moving without the process taking over the company.
When a software build is taking too long, confidence is fading, or a team can’t quite close it, I help figure out why. I work across people, process, architecture, data, and performance to restore clarity and forward motion.
I like working with teams that are figuring out what’s possible. That includes rapid prototyping, modern development workflows, and hands-on exploration of AI-assisted software development.
ABOUT DON
I started as a software developer, eventually building and leading a team of more than 30 engineers. From there I moved through product management, sales and marketing, consulting, and health information exchange strategy, while staying close to the technology.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked where health data, software, products, and business meet. Along the way I’ve worked deeply in clinical data aggregation, HL7 and FHIR interoperability, analytics, quality measurement, healthcare workflows, product launches, and business development.
These days I’m getting hands-on again, especially with data, performance, prototyping, and AI-assisted development. I’m not trying to become a full-time developer again. Modern tools just make it possible to explore and build in ways that are fun and very productive.
Glide Health IT is the company I operate through. My work is usually embedded with product, engineering, and leadership teams that are building something new or trying to get something important across the line.
PODCASTS
I’ve spent years talking with smart people about healthcare, technology, business, innovation, and the messy reality of getting new ideas adopted.
LET'S TALK
If you’re working on a health data product, a difficult build, or an idea worth exploring, I’m always interested in a good conversation.
